The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites contractors registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) to submit bids to undertake the completion of the remaining infrastructure works at the Maxfield Park Housing Development, which comprises of 44 housing units.
LOCATION
The Maxfield Park Housing Development is located across from the intersection of Norman Manley Drive and Languard Avenue, Kingston 13.
SCOPE OF WORKS
The successful contractor will be required to undertake infrastructure works which includes:
- Preliminary site work;
- Construction of roadways and storm water drainage system;
- Installation of sewer main;
- Installation of equipment to the sewer lift station and generator room (including finishing works to the existing structure and commissioning of the system); and
- Installation of a water distribution system (including to flush, test and sterilize the water mains).
ELIGIBILITY TO TENDER
Tenderers must provide:
- Evidence of tax compliance
- A copy of a valid PPC registration certificate in the category of Civil Engineering Works with a minimum Grade 2 rating
N.B: A tender security in the form of a Manager’s Cheque, Bond or Bank Guarantee in the amount of J$350,000.00 is required.

Bid packages are available for download from the GOJ’s e-procurement website at e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm, from Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
RETURN OF TENDERS
Bids must be submitted online on or before 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 12, 2024. Bids will be opened online via the e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm on the same day, immediately following the bid submission deadline.
