The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites registered security firms to submit tenders for the provision of security services (unarmed guards) for a period of nine (9) months (including public holidays and weekends), at the NHT’s Orange Grove property located in Falmouth, Trelawny.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The scope of services includes:
- Providing 24-hour security services;
- Providing two (2) unarmed guards:
- One (1) guard to monitor and operate the main gate and conduct intermittent daytime patrol of the grounds.
- One (1) guard to monitor and patrol the grounds 7pm – 7am daily.
- Patrolling of the property and ensuring that:
- Access to the property is restricted to authorized personnel or persons of the NHT, vehicles and equipment authorized by the NHT.
- No part of the building (fixtures or fittings) is removed from the property without the NHT’s authorization.
- No illegal activities are carried out on the premises.
LOCATION
The Orange Grove property is located approximately 10 minutes or 8 km from the National Housing Trust’s Trelawny Service Center at 85 Market Street. The property is south east of the Falmouth town center and can be accessed off of the main A1 road.
ELIGIBILITY TO TENDER
Tenderers must provide:
- Evidence of tax compliance
- A copy of a valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) registration certificate in the category of Safety & Security Services
- A copy of a valid Private Security Regulations Authority (PSRA) certificate licensed as Contract Security Organization

RETURN OF TENDERS
Bids must be submitted online on or before Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11:00 am; opening of bids will be done online via the e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm on the same day, immediately following bid submission deadline.
