The National Housing Trust, NHT wishes to advise the public regarding a set of fictitious communication being circulated, purporting to be from senior managers and staff of the Trust.
The fictitious communication is being circulated via email and WhatsApp message. In one instance, the claim is that there is an emergency requiring assistance and in another, individuals are being asked to submit banking information for a refund.
The NHT wishes to advise that neither the email account(s) nor the overseas WhatsApp number(s) being used, are associated with the NHT or any of its officers.
The NHT does NOT communicate with customers regarding such matters in this manner.
Customers contacted SHOULD NOT engage with the individuals behind these false communications and most importantly SHOULD NOT share any personal data.
