Civil Engineering Services – Mountain View Apartment Complex, Grants Pen Apartment Complex, and New Works Housing Scheme

The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites registered civil engineering consultants/firms to submit proposals to facilitate the assessment of the existing wastewater management structures, and implement new/rehabilitated structures for three (3) developments.

 

LOCATION:

The location of each development as follows:

  • Mountain View Apartment Complex - 55 Mountain View Avenue, Kingston 3
  • Grants Pen Apartment Complex - 13 Grants Pen Avenue, Kingston 8
  • New Works Housing Scheme - Melbourne Boulevard, Linstead, St. Catherine

 

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

The civil engineering consultant/firm is required to:

  1. Assessment of the existing wastewater management structure;
  2. Design and implementation of new/rehabilitated structures;
  • Obtainment of all the relevant design approvals;
  1. Preparation of the tender documents to facilitate the procurement of the contractor for the works, and evaluate the bids received;
  2. Administration of the construction works contract and addressing all design issues that may arise during the implementation of the works.

 

ELIGIBILITY TO TENDER:

Service providers must provide:

  • Evidence of tax compliance.
  • Evidence that the civil engineer and firm are registered with the Professional Engineering Registration Board (PERB).

Tender documents are available for download from the GOJ’s e-procurement website at e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm, from Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

 

RETURN OF TENDERS

Proposals must be submitted online on or before Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.; opening of proposals will be done online via the e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm on the same day, immediately following bid submission deadline.
