The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites registered Quantity Surveyors to submit proposals to provide pre- and post-contract services for the development of 500 housing solutions on 51.78 hectares (128 acres) of land at Dundee Housing Development, Trelawny.
LOCATION
The property is located approximately 10 km (6 miles) south-west of Falmouth town centre in Trelawny.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be required to:
- Prepare preliminary estimates based on preliminary designs;
- Prepare tender documents, inclusive of priced and unpriced Bills of Quantities (BQs);
- Evaluate bids received (including alternative methods of construction) and prepare tender evaluation report;
- Monitor the works contract, including checking and verifying the quantities claimed by the main and/or sub-contractors and prepare interim valuations on account to the contractor;
- Prepare and certify the final accounts for the
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Consultants/Firms must provide:
- Evidence of tax compliance
- Evidence that the Quantity Surveyor is registered with the Jamaican Institute of Quantity Surveying (JIQS)

Tender documents may be downloaded online via the GoJ’s e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm. Documents will be available electronically from Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
RETURN OF PROPOSALS
Proposals must be submitted on / or before Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Proposals will be opened online via the e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm on the same day, immediately following the proposal submission deadline.
