NHT's interview process consists of several steps. Your application is reviewed and if short listed you will go through a phone interview and then an in person interview.
It's best to write one or have one created for you, but you can still apply without one. Where a resume/CV is requested, upload a brief description of your background, experience (with dates of employment), education, and skills. This info is necessary to evaluate candidates. Applications without this information can't be considered.
It's easy! First, search for a job. Once you find the role you're interested in, click the 'Apply Now' button next to the title of the role at the top of the page. Then, follow the directions.
With the NHT's change in policy, points are only considered when one applies for a scheme loan. You get 20 points for every 52 weeks of contributions made. Additionally, when you have applied for a scheme loan, you will be get between 110 and 70 points depending on the income bracket in which you fall.
The NHT may offer a successful applicant, with or without a co-applicant, a short-term Lease, not exceeding three (3) years. The Lessee has the option to purchase the Unit at its original selling price, at anytime during the Lease period. If you would like to know how the NHT can help you in owning one of these units, then contact us
This facility is available to a contributor, whose income cannot afford the full purchase price of a scheme unit. Under this arrangement, the NHT will defer payment of up to 40% of the cost of the unit.
Only the points of the primary applicant will be used for selection. So, ensure that the person with the highest points is the primary applicant.
The Priority Index Entitlement (PIE) System is the selection system used by the NHT to award scheme loans to eligible contributors. Under PIE selection the criteria are: Parish of residence or Parish of employment— Applicants must live and/or work in the parish where the development is located. Number of points—Points are derived from weekly contributions and current income.
