The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites contractors to submit bids to undertake civil infrastructure works for the Colbeck Castle Housing Development, Phase 5, St. Catherine.
The property is located approximately 3 km northwest of the Old Harbour town centre. It is along the St. Catherine and Clarendon border and within close proximity to the communities of The Aviary, Old Harbour Glades and New Harbour Village.
SCOPE OF WORKS:
The successful contractor will be required to undertake civil infrastructure works to facilitate the development of 602 serviced lots, which includes:
- Site clearance.
- Lot Grading.
- Road works and storm water drainage.
- Water distribution system.
- Sewage conveyance system to central sewage.
- On-lot sewage collection and disposal system.
Tenderers must provide:
- Evidence of tax compliance.
- Copy of a valid PPC/NCC registration certificate with a Grade 1 rating in the category of Civil Engineering Works.
N.B: A tender security in the form of a Bond/Bank Guarantee in the amount of J$15,000,000.00 is required.

Bid packages are available for download from the GOJ’s e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm, from Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
RETURN OF DOCUMENTS:
Bids must be submitted online on or before 11:00 am on Friday, April 9, 2021; opening of bids will be done online via the e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm, immediately following the bid submission deadline.
